About Us

Harrington Kelly Ltd is an accountancy practice based in Elstree on the edge of North London. We provide accounting services, financial and tax advice to business and personal clients in Hertfordshire, London and across the UK. We are Chartered Certified Accountants governed by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

The practice is headed by Gerard Kelly, who has 13 years experience in financial systems and corporate banking with Lloyds TSB and Nordea. Subsequently he spent 15 years as a finance director in both private companies and London Stock Exchange listed businesses. He was Group Finance Director of  Money Debt & Credit Group plc when it listed on AIM in 2006 and went on to become one of the UK’s largest debt solutions businesses. Gerard Kelly is a Chartered Banker and a Chartered Certified Accountant. He holds degrees from UMIST and Oxford Brookes.

We think you’ll find our rates competitive – we understand that value for money is important to our clients – but so too is a reliable professional service. At Harrington Kelly all of your business affairs are managed personally by a qualified accountant and not a call centre or an off-shore bureau. Like most of our clients we don’t just work 9-5. As a client, you can contact us at any time by email, sms or phone and we’ll be there to support you.  You can visit us at our office in Elstree (with easy free parking) or we can come to you to discuss your needs.

You expect your accountant to have a good technical knowledge and we think Harrington Kelly can provide that. But where we’re different is that we have first-hand experience of dealing with the financial opportunities and challenges that our clients face running and growing their businesses – from sole traders to larger organisations. We don’t just do the ticking, bashing and accounting theory, we know business from the sharp-end: starting-up, investing, funding, managing cash, measuring performance, decision-making, complying with regulation and dealing with tax.
